General Information

During the winter you must have a Snowpark Permit to park in the Dutchman Flat Snowpark. No overnight parking allowed in Mt. Bachelor parking lots.

Individual and large group shuttles from Bend, Redmond or Sisters to Dutchman Flat SnoPark in the Winter and Elk Lake Resort in the summer can be provided by Safe Chauffeur. For more information about cost for this service, visit safechauffeur.me or call 541-494-7233.
- Elk Lake Resort is a Pet-Friendly resort during our Summer Season. Please call the Lodge at 541-480-7378 or click here for more information.
- We have 13 cabin rental units, 10 with full kitchens.
- Our lodge & dining room is open for meals, supplies, beer, wine and gourmet coffee. Please check the operating hours.
- Snowmobile rentals are available at the resort, during the winter months.
- We rent snowshoes in the winter.

During the winter months, we do the best we can to groom the Elk Lake Loop Road for cross country skiing.
- We have Premium Non Ethanol Unleaded Gas for your car, boat or snowmobile.
- For current conditions, take a look at the view from Mt. Bachelors Webcam.
- There is no Wi-Fi at the resort; please bring your own Hotspot. Verizon and AT&T cell services work best.
- There is no cable or satellite in the cabins.
- We do not sell fishing licenses or trail permits.
Lodging Cancellation Policy: If canceling with 60 days or more notice, a FULL REFUND will be given minus cancelation fees of $35 (lodging with amenities) or $10 (lodging without amenities). If canceling or reducing any part of the reservation within 60 days up to 72 hours prior to arrival, deposit remains on file for a ONE TIME ability to apply it to a new reservation. If canceling or reducing any part of your reservation within 72 hours of arrival, all payments/deposits are forfeited and cannot be transferred to a new/current reservation.
