Snowcat Covid-19 Precautions

We ask that all guests answer the questions above before arriving at Dutchman Flat Sno-Park. **IF THE ANSWER TO ANY OF THE QUESTION IS YES, PLEASE CALL THE LODGE @ 541 480 7378 and CANCEL YOUR SEAT ON THE SNOWCAT.

Guests:

Elk Lake Resort is following enhanced cleaning and sanitation procedures throughout the day in all Snowcat Vehicles. Upon arrival at Dutchman Flat Sno-Park please expect the following:

  • When you check in with your Snowcat driver, you will be asked to have your temperature taken and hand sanitizer will be available for use.  If you do have a temperature you will not be allowed to board the Snowcat.
  • Masks are required to be worn at all times and for the duration of your trip. That means no EATING or DRINKING in the Snowcat is possible.
  • Since it is impossible for social distancing to be maintained in the Snowcat vehicles, if you are uncomfortable sitting next to people outside of your family or group, or are in a High Risk category, we recommend that you not make the trip via Snowcat to Elk Lake.

Prior to arrival at Dutchman Flat Sno-Park:

  • During the Snowcat planning process you will be asked to name all parties coming in with your group.  We may need to refer to this information for contact tracing in the event there is a COVID positive case reported.  We need this info for the Public Health Dept.
  • Please arrive at Dutchman Flat at the time specified by the Snowcat Coordinator.  These additional steps will require additional time before departure.

Be Safe.

Thank You for your Understanding and Cooperation.
