Summertime is the perfect time to spend time on Elk Lake. Paddleboarding, boating, fishing, or just hanging out on the water, Elk Lake Resort has a wide variety of boating options for you! Get the watercraft of your choice and take it out on a picturesque cruise full of magnificent mountains, breathtaking landscapes, and scenic views.
Please follow all boating and fishing regulations, respect the pristine nature of the lake, and enjoy your time on the lake. Garbage receptacles are located at multiple locations on the resort grounds. Please use them to preserve the lake waters and surrounding grounds.
Canoes, Kayaks, and Paddleboards are on a ‘first come, first serve‘ basis. Available for walk-ins daily from 10 a.m- 6 p.m., with the last rental available at 5 p.m. All Marina Rentals need to be back to the Kiosk by 6 p.m.
DAY DOCK |
Rent our exclusive Day Dock for a full or half day for your group or special event. The dock is secured to the Lakefront shoreline and features tables and chairs for seating of up to 28 people, a BBQ (propane and BBQ utensils provided), umbrellas, a gazebo for shade, and spectacular views of all summer activities and Mt. Bachelor. Dogs allowed! Rental rates start at $400. No Smoking.
MOBILE DAY DOCK |
Want a more private lake experience? Book a full or half day rental on our Mobile Day Dock, a floating dock that allows you to be untethered from the shore. Because Mobile Day Dock is navigable you get to choose where she drops anchor, whether in the middle of the lake or one of Elk Lake’s more secluded coves. Maximum of 20 people. Rental rates start at $300 for a half-day.
CABANA |
Book your own private Cabana with the best views of the lake, easy access to the Lodge and a space you can call your own for the day at Elk Lake Resort! Three newly constructed Cabanas are situated in the grassy lakeshore area which provide protection from the sun, wind and are built with wood slat siding for added privacy. Dogs are NOT allowed on furniture, but are welcome in the grassy area, on a leash.
CANOES |
Experience the peace and serenity of Elk Lake while paddling around in a canoe. Canoes can be rented in 2-hour increments and can be picked up at the Elk Lake Marina. Our canoes accommodate two people. Rental rates starting at $45.
DAY DOCKS |
Rent one or both of our exclusive Day Docks for a full or half day for your group. Day Dock Lakeside Lounge is secured to the shoreline while Day Dock Lakeside Lanai is located on our Docks. Note: Failure to remove all garbage will result in a $100 cleaning fee. Evidence of smoking or pet will result in a $500 fee. Boat is not permitted within 30 feet of shoreline. No fishing and no towing. Drivers must be over age 21, and provide a valid Driver’s License. Boating Licenses are NOT required for this activity and a waiver must be signed at the Lodge. Rental rate starts at $300 plus 10% Resort Fee.

Marina Activity Rental Cancellation Policy: If canceling or reducing any part of your reservation with 72 hours or more notice, a FULL REFUND will be given. If canceling or reducing any part of your reservation within 72 hours of arrival, all payments/deposits are forfeited. Full refund issued if Elk Lake is forced to cancel your reservation due to weather conditions.
