Elk Lake Resort is located southwest of Bend Oregon and approximately one mile from the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). As an update, we have owned Elk Lake Resort for about six years now, and have spent our summers renovating the cabins and the resort. We strive to create an enjoyable place to visit. In the summer months, our operating hours are 8 am to 8 pm. Our store offers a variety of snacks, medical supplies, and camping items. Hopefully we stock what PCT hiker's need to help re-supply you and your friends on your way along the trail. Our restaurant has been a big hit with the hikers this summer, I have never seen such shapely people eat so much! We offer two hot showers with bathroom facilities for $5. This includes towel, shampoo, and soap. Laundry facilities to wash and dry, cost $2. |

Camping Cabins are very popular with hikers also. There are only a few amenities in the camping cabins, like a propane lantern and heater, a bed downstairs, a loft, and two out of the three cabins have twin bunks. These cost $58 per night (we will offer all PCT hikers a discount to keep you at your current $45 rate). We also have a 16 space private campground, spaces cost $15 per night. We charge a $5 handling fee for all Drop-Ship Packages at time of pickup. We accept UPS or FedEx packages only at the resort. Please Do Not send via the US Postal Service unless you give us a couple weeks lead-time. These will end up going to Bend instead of the resort. We only go to town once a week to pick up P.O. Box packages. Make sure your package is critter proof (mouse/chipmunk) a hard plastic tote is ideal to keep out the critters, they can be persistent. Address to:Elk Lake Resort Attn: (your name) PCT Hiker 60,000 Century Dr. Bend, OR 97701 At the bottom of your package, please write your estimated time of arrival. If you have to send: US Postal Service please send to: Elk Lake Resort P.O. Box 698 Bend, OR 97709 Jim Nee/PCT hiker/Biologist/Naturalist, has been very helpful in providing us with information to better serve PCT Hickers.
